Can you add Apple CarPlay to an older car?
Yes. Most cars from the 2000s onwards can take a CarPlay head unit, and many with a factory screen can take a retrofit module instead. Send your car details and we will confirm the best option.
Is wireless CarPlay better than wired?
Wireless is more convenient because it connects on its own with no cable. Wired can be slightly more stable on very old phones. Our units support wireless CarPlay out of the box.
Do I need to keep my factory screen?
Not necessarily. We can replace the whole unit with a CarPlay touchscreen, or keep your factory screen and add a retrofit module. It depends on your car and what you prefer.
Will CarPlay work with my steering wheel buttons?
Yes, we integrate your factory steering controls so you can change volume and tracks and answer calls from the wheel.
